The Puppet Master

Power is the ability to control ones environment, including the thoughts and actions of people surrounding you. It is amoral, making it neither good nor evil. It can manifest itself in authority and tradition; a shaper of history and at times a creator or destroyer of destiny.

Those who are in power may be visible sources of authority and yet there are those that exert power from the darkness. They influence our actions and opinions in manners we do not know, manipulating us and our world from the shadows. While we sit comfortably in our perfect little world, they are there in the dark lurking and pulling on our strings.
