The Buddhist temple of Narita San Shin So Ji is the main attraction in the quiet town of Narita. Built in 940, it was dedicated to Fudo Myo-o, the Deity of Immovable Wisdom. The park is a 16.5 hectares sprawling complex of gardens and temples, which also houses the Calligraphy Museum.
